So yeah, this thing exists.....
Not like many of you are reading this, but I guess I could give a good rant right now... lessee....
AH HA! GOT IT!!
I recently made the decision to start collecting hockey cards again. As a kid whenever I was good and did all my chores for a week my dad would bring me home a pack from the deli. At the time I Had NO idea what the "hot" cards were, I just wanted to get as many Blueshirts (thats the rangers to most of you) cards as I could. At the time, nearly every card looked the same, excepting the player. Sure some had "Rookie" or "MVP" or some other meaningless (at the time) word on it, but unless it had a rangers jersey on, I didnt care.
Flash forward 12 years, and everything seems different. theres so manny different sets, all with around 5 diferent varities for each card it will make your head spin. Back in the day we knew 1 guy who had cards with a piece of jersey in them. now, its the only thing people open packs for. And get this, they are pissed off if they dont get one.
WHAT. THE. FUCK!
It took me watching at least 5 diferent box breaks to realize m,ost people ignore the "base" cards. for those of you who play magic, thats the equivelent of oppening a pack of a brand new set, and throwing out everything but the rare.
Ok, thats it. expect this to get updated more, but I just got a 30 case of Blue Ribbon, and you gotta drink it while its cold.
