Concept for General Splatton conversion contest

I have a ton of left over clay and Mantic Undead bits, including a couple of the "Burst outta the ground" Skellys. My plan is to make a large base/ diorama with 2-3 of them popping out, holding trick or treat bags, with some kind of hat on their heads, getting candy from my Evariel Necromancer. Should end up looking pretty nice. will be doing a project Log here or on youtube.

God i need a new Hobby...

Whew *checks date* YES its been less than a year since my last post. I actually have a use for this blog now, so it'll be updating slightly more regularly. Anyway, todays topic: Minis

I've been painting for a couple years now, on and off. My biggest problem is that by only doing one or 2 major projects a year, my skills atrophy and I have to reintroduce myself to basic techniques. To combat this, i've been raiding the cheap out of print minis at my FLGS, and rationing myself with them. They also make good conversion practice, as you will see when I post the finished results of my Ral Partha cyborg Dragon.

Hockey news: I'm out of collecting. one of my expensive hobbies had to go, and hockey cards are it. i still pick up the odd card at the swap meat, but only dubi and richter patches or autos.
